Our family of four couldn't sit on the balcony and hang out together.Overall, we had a great stay and would probably stay here again. The view is great, but only two small chairs fit on the balcony. The units (at least all those that we saw) have very tiny, triangle-shaped balconies. No staff intervened to stop this practice. Families would arrive and gather up many chairs for just their group, leaving others with nowhere to sit. Because of this, the pool got very crowded, especially on the weekend. The area was also rocky and we didn't see anyone use the beach to swim the entire time that we were there. The seaweed was actually a huge problem everywhere we went in the keys. The whole area around the beach/marina smelled bad because of the seaweed decaying in the sun. There is a beach, but it was absolutely covered with big piles of seaweed. There were some things that were disappointing: Photos of the resort show a small, but beautiful beach. It also has a marina if you bring a boat and a fishing pier. The pool was large and the temperature was always perfect.The location is close to everything in the Tavernier area and also close to Key Largo. We stayed on the 3rd floor of building 4. The great philosopher Forrest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolates and you never know what you're going to get".just like the rooms at this place. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

For $290/night plus taxes & "resort" fees this hole cost $681.76. The expectation of what you reserved & paid for a room and what you get are seriously disconnected resulting in a disappointing experience. The food tuck was 's a food truck, you know it's a food truck when you order and likely have the right expectations for what your food truck food experience will be. There was a food truck near the pool that is your only option for food in the evening. They had restaurant but it was closed when we arrived so I can't comment on that. The furniture in the bedroom was in poor condition as well. The couch in our room was heavily stained on 2 of the 3 cushions.we passed on sitting on that. As a result, there is no consistency in the room quality and furnishings. However, I think these are actually individually owned condominiums that are leased through the website. From the website this appears to be a resort. Another person had a decent room and experience. A few other people from our group that made the same booking mistake had a much worse room and immediately checked out. We should have done our own research and found another place. We were in Key Largo to attend an event and this location was suggested for a two night stay.
